Kestrel Yurt sleeps two adults plus an optional two children on the Diepklowe Nature Reserve, about 90 minutes (100km) from Cape Town, part of Southern Yurts. It offers luxury glamping for a quick midweek escape or a romantic space for two, and you can book neighbouring Malachite to host up to eight. The yurt has a private wood-fired hot tub, good Wifi with UPS, a cargo hammock and a wood-fired pizza oven. Stays are self-catering, though food baskets can be ordered, and it is pet friendly. The reserve offers hiking trails, trail running, bird watching and a farm dam with a canoe and kayak, with wine tasting, zip lining, horse-riding and farmer's markets within a 30 minute drive.
