Shackleton is one of six solar-powered eco pods set among old olive trees and fynbos on a working farm outside Wellington. The light-filled pod sleeps two with a king bed, an en-suite shower and an outdoor shower overlooking olive groves and mountain views. An open-plan lounge and kitchen is the ideal spot to curl up, warmed by an indoor fireplace. Its private patio has a sunken wood-fired hot tub, a braai, a potjiekos pot and a pizza oven for those slow evenings under the stars.
